Dozens of needy families in Kunar receive aid from Bayat Foundation
Bayat Foundation this week distributed a large consignment of winter aid to dozens of needy families in Kunar province.
Foundation officials said that the aid packages included food items and winter clothes, which were distributed to needy families following a survey.
“In continuation of Bayat Foundation’s winter aid which we distributed in different provinces, today, fortunately, we came to Kunar province to distribute food and non-food items such as flour, oil, rice, blankets, jackets and socks to the deserving families, said Haji Mohammad Ismail, deputy head of Bayat Foundation.
The families who benefited from the winter aid packages have asked other charitable organizations to help Afghans in need during these difficult times.
Foundation officials stated that they are trying to help the needy and to reduce the problems of poor families by continuing to distribute these aid packages.
Over the past month, thousands of needy families have benefited from Bayat Foundation’s aid packages, including returning refugees from Pakistan.
