Following the fight against rebels in northwestern Faryab province and leading military operations against insurgents, Afghan first vice president, Gen. Abdul Rashid Dustom entered Sar-e Pul to suppress the insurgents.

Gen. Dustom warned Pakistan Inter-Service Intelligence ISI of not reaching its goals with launching attacks in Afghanistan.

He once again called on Taliban group to lay down their weapons and join the peace process.

Afghanistan first vice president stresses that Pakistani ISI is behind war in Afghanistan.

“We do not allow any terrorist groups to burn schools in Sare-e Pul province,” Gen. Dustom said. “I urge the deceived ones to join peace process and we support them.”

This comes as it has been more than three months that the first vice president abandoned Presidential palace and is busy in battle with Taliban and other terrorist groups in Northern parts of the country.
