Dutch Defense, Foreign Ministers Visit Kabul Officials on New Chapter of Cooperation

Holland Foreign Minister Bert Koenders has stated that US Government needs to take action to determine its policy towards Afghanistan on withdrawing of its troops from Afghanistan, saying we will continue our advising supports to Afghan security forces and development of Afghanistan in the frame of resolute support mission.

Mr, Koenders added that Holland is committed to assist Afghanistan 118 million Euros to the end of 2017.

Holland Foreign Minister Bert Koenders said,” we stay side by side with Afghanistan in terms of peace ,stability ,security, civilian causalities, and economic growth the resolute support mission amplifies our commitments post 2014 and I think Afghan forces and police forces take the responsibility and at the same time.”

Holland Defense Minister Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert said, “so we will continue to assist the security forces with advise with training, to consolidate the results we have achieved so far , in short term I don’t foresee to assist security forces by giving them additional equipments obviously there will exchange of equipments.”

Dutch Foreign Minister Bert Koenders also said,” We will assist Afghanistan 118 million Euros for its security and stability, he insisted the long term development of Afghanistan needs continuation of International community cooperation.”

Afghanistan Foreign Minister Salahuddin Rabbani said,” Dutch close cooperation since years to Afghanistan is valuable,we as the strategic cooperator to European countries needs their cooperation on ensuring peace and stability into Afghanistan, the cooperation which has been committed by the International community in Chicago and other International summits.”

Dutch Government has assisted one billion Euros to Afghanistan and its Military troops had been stationed into three Provinces of Baghlan, Kandahar and Uruzgan, at the current condition 100 Dutch Trainers are busy training Afghan security forces in Afghanistan.
