US Senator John MacCain has said that the former US President, Barack Obama failed in foreign policy toward Afghanistan; Citing the new administration is developing a new strategy for victory.

Sen. MacCain is said to believe that US Defence Secretary, James Mattis has the ability to solve all ongoing challenges in Afghanistan.

“I am confident that General Mattis understands our bests in Afghanistan. President Trump has promised to rebuild the military, We will developing strategy for victory. The former President of United States failed miserably, but I know that president Trump committed to rebuild the military. We will be designing a strategy for victory,” said US Sen. John MacCain.

President Obama’s foreign policy has left the U.S. in a weaker position than when he took office, analysts say.

John MacCain has also stressed on improving the relations between Afghanistan and Pakistan; Adding the two countries have a common enemy and they should have honest cooperation.

“The final decision would be to bring the parties together, because they face a common enemy and we do everything we can to restore good relation between the two countries,” added MacCain.
