Two Security Guards Killed in Attack on Afghan MP House

Two bodyguards of Afghan Member of Parliament (MP) Zahir Qadir were killed after two suicide bombers launched a coordinated attack in Jalal Abad city of Nangarhar province.

The spokesman for the provincial governor, Attahullah Khogyani said both suicide bombers detonated suicide vests outside of Zahir Qader’s house in Jalalabad, the provincial capital, on Wednesday morning.

The Islamic State-Daesh group claimed responsibility behind the attack.

Zahir Qadir, a former deputy speaker of the Lower House has always called for suppress of Daesh group in Nangarhar and other provinces.
