Fact-Finding Commission Identifies Assailants in Deadly Kabul Hospital Attack

The fact-finding commission investigating the deadly Kabul hospital attack has identified the perpetrators with surveillance cameras.

The commission says the attack was organized outside Afghanistan and the main suspects of this incident are arrested.

Surveillance camera images have been used in our investigation and we could easily identify the faces of suspects,” said Helaluddin Helal, deputy of ministry of defense discovery department.

Gunmen disguised as medical personnel stormed Sardar Muhammad Dawood Khan military hospital near the US Embassy in Kabul, killing more than 30 people in a six-hour siege before Afghan security forces killed the attackers.

The ISIS-affiliated news agency Amaq said the terror group claimed responsibility for the attack near Kabul’s heavily fortified diplomatic quarter.
