Faryab inhabitants criticize government’s policies against Taliban

A number of inhabitants in Ghormach and Qaisar districts urged government for serious measures to provide security.
Residents of these districts criticized the government’s policies but praised security forces measures against the recent Taliban attacks.
However, some of them said that in the last 10 days conflict Ghormach inhabitants have been affected by Taliban and government and hundreds of families have escaped to remote villages.
In the meantime, Qaisar residents said that the government could only secure Qaisar-Maimana highway but Taliban have activity around these districts.
General Commander of army in North and East of Afghanistan said, they will continue their coercive measures against Taliban to secure those districts.
