Fighting In Balkh Police HQ Ended, Militants Killed

The fighting between the security forces and armed attackers ended after two hours of fierce gun battle in the compound of Police Headquarter in northern Balkh province, officials said.
Police HQ spokesman, Sher Jan Durrani, confirmed the clashes ended with both the militants—wearing police uniform—gunned down.
He denied commenting on police death toll; however health officials told Ariana News that 17 wounded people were shifted to the civil hospital with 6 of them policemen.
