The first air cargo light from Kabul to Almaty of Kazakhstan to take off tomorrow (Friday), officials said.

It will be the second route on air cargo linking Afghanistan and Kazakhstan after Kabul and Mumbai air corridor which was launched  last June.

Sameer Rasa, Head of Media Office for the Senior Advisor to the President on Banking and Finance said that the cargo plane will carry 4.6 tonnes of dry fruits and medicinal plants from Kabul to Almaty.

Afghanistan has so far exported 1,600 tonnes of fruits, worth more than $20 million, via air corridor to India.

Separately, Sameer Rasa said that the government has allocated Barikaab Industrial Park in Parwan province for investors who wish to establish factories there.

He stressed that the investors could invest in the industrial park by buying land with $20,000 million.
