Foundation of electoral system must be changed: Muhaqiq

The second deputy of the executive officer, Muhammad Muhaqiq said that the foundation of electoral system should be changed.

 Muhammad Muhaqiq criticized the audacity of President Ghani and the executive officer, saying the new and impartial figures must manage the next elections.

“The electoral laws must be changed and previous figures headed the election system should be away from the scene,” Muhaqiq said.

Meanwhile, the second vice president declares that the chairmen of Supreme Court, general attorney, monitoring commission on implementation of the constitution and the remaining governors will be introduced in the near future.

“The government determined to reform, the new figures will be introduced as soon as possible,” Sarwar Danish, second vice president said.

The second vice president did not say anything specifically about the election but considers reforms in Afghanistan agencies an essential need.

The second deputies of President and CEO had also talked about peace; Muhaqiq noted that informal meetings have been carried out between Afghan government and Taliban group.

This comes as that earlier, the executive officer, Abdullah Abdullah has also criticized the performance of national unity government in the past eight months.
