Gang of kidnappers arrested in Helmand

A group of nine kidnappers were arrested during a special operation by Afghan National Directorate of Security, NDS statement released on Sunday said.
The group was plotting to kidnap the kids of rich businessmen and well-known elders for money, the statement added.
According to the statement, arrested kidnappers have confessed, they were involved in several abduction and armed robbery cases in the area.
