Gen. Dustom Calls On Russia For Greater Military, Technical Cooperation
Afghanistan first vice president, General Abdul Rashid Dustom in his meeting with Russian defense minister called for greater military and technical cooperation against terrorism and extremism.
Gen. Dustom along with his delegation demanded Russia and donor countries to not be indifferent against incident happening in Afghanistan because such incidents also have negative impacts on security of regional countries.
Previously, the vice president said that ensuring equity among all Afghans living in the country is the responsibility of the government; adding he is committed to fight against all kinds of discrimination in the society.
In the meantime, Russian defense minister seeks to hold a summit with participation of Shanghai member countries and security allied countries of Central Asia.
They will discuss over Afghanistan security situation and its solutions and preventing extremist threats at the summit.
