Ghani Leaves for Turkmenistan to Sign ‘Mutual Cooperation Agreements’

President Ashraf Ghani left Kabul on Monday for Ashgabat, capital of Turkmenistan, on a one-day official visit.

According to a statement by the Presidential Palace, Ghani is expected to meet with Turkmen President, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow and discuss the strengthening of relations between the two countries.

The leaders of the two nations are also expected to sign mutual cooperation agreements, the statement said.
