Ghani Left Kabul to Visit Gardiz District of Paktia Province

Afghan President Ashraf Ghani leading a high-level delegation Left capital Kabul early this morning to visit Gardiz district of Paktia province, the Presidential Palace said in a statement.

“President Ghani has visited Paktia local officials and tribal elders and expressed condolences to the victims’ families,” the statement said.

At least 48 people were killed and 20 others wounded a recent terrorist incident in police headquarters in Paktia province.
