Ghani Warns to Add Taliban in International Blacklist

President Ashraf Ghani has warned the Taliban group, saying time is not in their favor and they should be ready for Peace Talks; otherwise they will be added to International Community blacklist.

While speaking at the Joint Coordination and Monitoring Board (JCMB)’s meeting for Afghans achievements, President Ghani said Afghan people cannot tolerate the terrorist attacks anymore and the International Community must break its silence against them.

“The National Unity Government is committed for peace. The International Community should know that Afghans cannot tolerate anymore. The Taliban group should be ready to join peace or they will be added to international blacklist,” said President Ghani.

Reforms and serious fight against corruption were the other commitments of President Ghani.

“Reforms is not an option but is a need. Reforms must be at a nation level. Reforms in the Ministry of Interior is a key for providing stability and fighting corruption,” Ghani added.

On the subject of the recent coalition made by three political parties that includes the first vice president, Ghani said they are victimizing the national interest for their personal interests.

He noted to increase security measures in Kabul and make security and intelligence forces more and called on Kabul residents to give the government 6 months for providing the security.
