Government Can’t Have Power To Select Commissioners: Tauhidi

Based on the new decision made by the Electoral Committee members new commissioners will not fired.

Deputy of the committee stating that Hiring and Firing of commissioners for the Election Commissions has been failed experience made by the pervious Governmental officials.

Sediqullah Tauhidi the deputy of the committee has also reported that they will begin referendum process from the provincial level talking to the political parties, civil society, and people.

Members of the Electoral Reformation Committee have stated that we not only demand the views of our Nation in the entire country but also the International bullet points on more transparency incoming Elections processes.

Based on the new working plot of the following committee new commissioners will be appointed away from the Interfering of the National Unity Government.

Deputy of the Electoral Reformation Committee Sediqullah Tauhidi said,” it has been unsuccessful efforts made by the Governmental officials on appointing commissioners in Election Commissions, there are several options to hold a free and fair Election in the future.”

Head of the Electoral Reformation Commiteee Shah Sultan Hakifi said,” we launch Nationwide referendum process to have the views of our Nation on reformation of the Election system, and avoiding any frauds and breaking laws in the future.”

International special envoy in Afghanistan’s Election Tadamichi Yamamoto said,” United Nations will provide technical supports for the Afghanistan Electoral Reformation Committee, and is committed to improve the following process in Afghanistan.”

Afghanistan Electoral Reformation Committee to provide a suggestion package for the Government of Afghanistan incoming three months,establishing of the following committee has been one of the main issue of the National Unity Government agreement which has been signed by both leaders.
