Gov’t Officials Owe More than 3 Billion Afghani to Nation Power Company

Officials at National Power Company Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS) have stated that the Governmental officials whose names will be listed below didn’t pay the electricity bills for years, They have warned if the bills aren’t paid, Kabul residents will not have electricity for the year of 2018 .

The Afghanistan National Power company Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS) has published the list of those of who haven’t paid their electricity bills for years and the names are as follows:

1-      First Vice President Gen, Abdul Rashid Dustom 34 million Afghani.

2-      Deputy of High peace council Mohammad Karim Khalili 5 million Afghani.

3-      Member of Harasat and Sabat council Abdul Rab Rasoul Sayyaf about 2 million Afghani.

4-      Law maker Lalia Hameedzai 600 thousand Afghani.

5-      Mp Abdul Rahim Ayubi about 300 thousand Afghani.

6-      Representative at lower house Mullah Tarakhail 600 thousand Afghani.

7-      Private Tv station Noorin more than 3 Million Afhgani.

DABS Spokesman Wahidullah Tauhidi said,” People should be friend with our company in consuming electricity so that everyone can enjoy electricity, once again we will announce the names of those who still owe our company for not paying their Electricity bills.”

Currently Afghanistan is purchasing 300 mega watt electricity from neighboring countries though the country needs 700 mega watt electricity.
