Heavy Clashes Ongoing between Afghan forces, Militants in Badghis

Heavy fighting is ongoing between the Afghan security forces and Taliban militants in Qades district of Badghis province since last night, officials said on Tuesday.
Provincial governor spokesperson, Zahir Bahand, told Ariana News that the clashes still continues in Bom Dara area of the district, adding that more forces have been deployed to the area by now.
Both sides have experienced causalities, but the exact numbers are still known.
Taliban claims they have captured all installations and checkpoints in Bom Dara area of the province. The group also claims dozens of security forces have been killed by their militants in the clashes between the two sides.
