Hekmat Karzai calls on neighboring countries to stop supporting terrorists

Political deputy of Foreign Ministry urged the neighboring countries of Afghanistan to end their financial and logistic supports from terrorist groups.

Hekmat Khalil Karzai, Political deputy of Foreign Ministry in Heart of Asia Summit said that when peace and stability  of Afghanistan will be in interest of the region that supports from terrorism ends.

“When peace and stability in Afghanistan will be in interest of regional countries that the financial and logistic supports from terrorists stops,” Said Hekmat Khalil Karzai, Political deputy of Foreign Ministry.

A conference aimed at shoring up support for war-ravaged Afghanistan opened in the Pakistani capital today, with political deputy of foreign ministry calling for an urgent, united response to the global menace of militancy.

“The wave of terrorist activities, including those of Daesh in various parts of the region and the world, once again reminds us of the gravity of this menace confronting today’s humanity and the urgency for a united position against this evil phenomenon,” Hikmat Khalil Karzai told the conference.

Meanwhile, the Presidential Palace says President Ghani will tomorrow visit Islamabad to attract regional and world cooperation.

“President Ghani’s aim to attend the Heart of Asia Summit is to attract regional and world cooperation,” said Sayed Zafar Hashemi, deputy spokesman of president.

The fifth ‘Heart of Asia’ conference, an annual gathering of Asian and other countries, is aimed at enhancing cooperation for countering security threats and promoting connectivity in the region.
