Hundreds of Afghans in the United States have protested in front of the White House and Asian Development Bank, urged stability in their war-torn country Afghanistan.

Demonstrators accused the National Unity Government of Corruption and urged U.S. to put pressure on Afghan government for bringing reforms in the system.

“Poverty and conflict are on rise, they should respond what is the reason behind it,” said U.S. based Afghan Rahima.

“We pay taxes and expect balanced consumption of it in Afghanistan and to maintain stability,” said U.S. based Afghan Sima.

The protest  comes as the Taliban insurgent group has rised their scale of attacks across the country as part of their “spring offensive”.  As result of the ongoing conflict, thousands of Afghans have been displaced, most of them in urgent need of assistance.
