IEA’s minister of mines discusses investment opportunities with Chinese, Russian and Afghan investors

Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum Shahabuddin Delawar on Thursday met with Chinese, Russian and Afghan investors in his office in Kabul, the ministry said.
According to the ministry, in this meeting various issues including investment opportunities in the country’s mineral resources sector were discussed.
Quoting Delaware, the ministry said the Islamic Emirate welcomes all countries in the field of investment in the country’s mineral resources sector and will provide facilities to investors in this sector.
According to the ministry, a Russian investor expressed his interest in investing in Afghanistan’s mining sector, especially in sapphire, lapis lazuli and marble mines.
