IEC Close To Announce Final Result

The Independent Election Commission (IEC) has said the final result of second round of Presidential Election will be announced soon.
IEC officials said Sunday that a final decision on the fate of 1.4 percent of total votes would be made Sunday and later the final result of the polls would be announced.
Deputy head of election commission, Abdul Rahman Hotaki, expressed Saturday that the result was delayed following audit of 405 more doubtful ballot boxes.
“As you see, audit of these doubtful ballots is going on and will be finished by the end of the day,” Hotaki told Ariana News.
He urged both the candidates must accept the election result as they had already promised to the nation to accept the result.
