IEC to hold Parliamentary Election on October 2016

Head of the Independent Election Commission IEC Ahmad Yousuf Nuristani on Monday determined the date for holding parliamentary, district council Election on October, 15, 2016 with the support of Afghanistan Government.

Mr, Nuristani has urged that no one can displace our commissioners or members of the IEC,demanding the Government to allocate budget for the expenses of parliamentary Election in the country.

He went on and determined the date for holding the parliamentary Election on 15 of October 2016,asking the Government to provide more supports on allocating budget and security for the Nationwide process.

Further in his speech Head of IEC Nuristani said,” we are an independent commission, we will not go under anybody’s pressures, and no one can interfere in our affairs.”

Meanwhile Afghanistan chief of executive Abdullah Abdullah urged that we would like to let the people understand that we are going to bring changes and launch reformation within the Election system, Election will not be held without reformation.

Selective committee members have also finalized the numbers of commissioners needed within the Elections commissions and soon they will release it.

All the clashes come after that International community has stopped its aids until the reformation in the Afghanistan’s election system doesn’t take place.
