IED detonates a police container in Kabul/ No causalities reported

Afghan officials confirmed that an improvised explosive device (IEDs) replaced in a police container explodes in capital, Kabul.

Security officials say that the incident took place in Kabul’s 5th security headquarters near the Qamber square at around 7:30 PM late Monday night.

Preliminary reports suggesting there were no casualties following the blast.

No groups have claimed responsibility behind the incident so far.

This comes as Taliban insurgents have intensified their attacks on this besieged capital, Kabul with a flurry of brazen bombings and afternoon raids targeting foreigners and Afghans, bringing the war into this city in a way not seen in any other year since the radical Islamists were ousted from power.
