Illegal extractors of mines should be trialed: Afzally

Head of integrity Watch has stated that illegal excavation of mines significantly continues as political and local powerful figures and a number of representatives of National assembly are behind the illegal process of excavation.

The officials in integrity Watch have also urged that those who are illegally extracting mines should be executed according to laws, because most of our enemies are being benefited from the extraction of mines and it also causes insecurity within the country.

Based on the survey launched by the integrity Watch Ngo the mines which are illegally excavating are cement Ghori in Baghlan, Nooraba and Gold mines in Takhar,Qarazakhan Gold mine in Baghlan,chromite of Kohisafi, coal mine in Samangan part of the incomes of the mines goes to Government treasury.

Head of the integrity watch Sayed Akram Afzaly said,” in the illegal processing of mines in the country most of the high rankings are involved, this has caused that Government treasury to be capable to collect very less part comparing to others, if the current condition continues it will badly damage the economy of Afghanistan.”

They have demanded the Government to prevent those who are illegally extracting the mines in the country.

Government should change the law, and avoid signing the contracts owned by the political,and powerful local figures head of the integrity watch sayed Akram Afzaly said.

Officials in integrity watch insisted that mining sector in the country is suffering from a serious threats of illegal extraction,there is no clear incomes of the mines goes to Government treasury,Government has yet to take serious action towards the mining sector.
