A major increase in the delivery of humanitarian assistance in the past year has prevented famine in Afghanistan, the United Nations said on Tuesday.
“A major increase in the delivery of humanitarian assistance in the past year has prevented famine, yet millions remain in severe crisis & face continued instability,” the United Nations said on Twitter.
