Jamiat political party leader Salahuddin Rabbani on Monday demanded immediate dismissal of National Security Adviser, Hanif Atmar, and the entire security leadership following a black week in Kabul with attacks and protests.

Rabbani who was speaking at a news conference in Kabul said his party have three demands to be accomplished as soon as possible.

First, Rabbani asked for immediate dismissal of all security chiefs to win the people trust on security institutions, claiming there is a collusion between terrorists  and specific circles within the government.

Second, he urged an independent investigation of recent attacks in Kabul and those involved must be prosecuted.

Third, Jamiat asked for the full implementation of the National Unity Government agreement.

Rabbani wished that the country’s Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah will support Jamiat stance in regards to the recent developments in the country since he was the candidate of the party in the disputed 2014 presidential elections.

He went further and said the party leadership council will decide about whether he will represent Afghanistan as Ministry of Foreign affairs at the Kabul Process which is scheduled to be held on Tuesday 06 June.
