President Hamid Karzai, whose Presidential term has already been finished, is going to leave the Presidential palace on coming Tuesday, said chief of Independent Electoral Complaints Commission (IECC).

Satar Sadat told reporters Sunday that President Karzai was leaving his office this Tuesday without a formal Farwell ceremony.

He stated it was an unconstitutional decision by President Karzai.

“The President is leaving his office this Tuesday,” Sadat said, “Vice Presidents may not have the capacity to transfer power to the new President.”

He said such an act of Hamid Karzai would pave ground for a coup and bloodshed.

However, these statements are not confirmed by the Presidential Palace or any other high-profile government source.
