Kunduz Residents Stranding in Capital Avenues

Scores of Kunduz residents whom have been displaced due to ongoing war are stranding in the capital city avenues, Residents who made to reach themselves to Kabul, Saying we were trapped in erupted ongoing fighting between Afghanistan security forces and Taliban in Khanabad district of Kunduz for days living without food, water.

Taliban attacked Kunduz 8 days ago war between Taliban and Afghan security forces continue, this has significantly impacted the life of the residents living in the city of Kunduz, the erupted war have left hundreds of the residents either displaced or trapped in the houses for days without food, water and accessing medical cares, one of the residents whom was trapped in Khanabad district has called Ariana News and narrated her experience during the war.

Khanabad Resident Miss. Saleha said,” We are trapped here for days and living without food, water and accessing medical services, We are asking the President and Chief executive to save us from this situation, otherwise we will lose members of our family.”

Huge number of Kunduz residents has come to Kabul seeking shelters, food and safe places and waiting from the Government of Afghanistan to provide necessary supports.

“ We event couldn’t collect our clothes, we were trapped for 8 days without food and water, since we are here in Kabul we don’t have no place to live in, We are asking the Government to provide supports one of the stranded Kunduz residents said,”

War in Kunduz entered into 8 days yet the Governmental officials specially the departments to launch necessary measurements to help and rescue the Kunduz residents.

Mp Fatima Azizi said,” it has been 8 days Kunduz residents are paying the prices, they have been living without food, water and medical services, the Government has no program to save the life of those, or to provide necessary humanitarian assistance, they have lost almost everything.”

Despite of repeated efforts made to get hold of the officials in Ministry of refugees and migrants for further help and assistance for the Kunduz residents but none were available to respond to our calls.
