Large Daesh Weapons, Explosives Cache Seized in Kabul
A large cache of weapons, explosives and munitions belonging to the Islamic State or Daesh terror group was seized in PD5 area of Kabul by Afghan security forces.
According to a security source, the cache was discovered from Qalai Wahid neighborhood in the 5th Police District of Kabul city. The source added that it was used in many terrorist attacks in Kabul.
The so called Islamic State also known as Daesh established its foothold in the eastern part of Afghanistan since 2014.
The group has conducted many brutal and deadliest attacks across the country, mainly in major cities including capital Kabul.
The latest one claimed the lives of 11 Afghan soldiers which was conducted by five Islamic State fighters yesterday, January 30, on a unit of Afghan army in Qargha area of Kabul.
