Malaria Risks life of 75 percent of Afghans: MoPH

Officials in Ministry of Public health have warned that 75 percent of the Afghan’s life at risks of malaria disease across the country.

They have also mentioned that 3 eastern provinces of Afghanistan are in the priority list of risks.

Meanwhile officials in World Health Organization who also declared Afghanistan as the first country facing serious threats of malaria disease

World countries have began struggling against such deadliest disease giving slogans tackling with malaria, the following disease kill more 1 million persons annually, Afghanistan suffers losing its residents for the past years.

Deputy Minister of Public health Ahmad Jan Naim said,” The three eastern provinces of Nangarhar, Konar,and Laghman are so vulnerable, and there is high risks of its infections to other provinces.”

The following disease easily spreads in warm, moisture weather and it could be transferred from one person to other.

Head of the who Richard P. said,” in order to overcome from such disease we should hold public awareness programs to raise the education of the residents.”

Estimations indicated that more than 3 billion human beings who live in this earth are facing malaria threats disease in the world.

In 2013 584,000 human beings lost their life because of this disease, Africa continent is the most vulnerable one who lost 90 percent its residents due to the following disease where most of it were the children under the age of 5.
