Media Outlets, Workers Extremely Vulnerable in Secure Parts of Country
The Federation noted that more than 25 journalists and media workers were killed and wounded in the recent incidents.
“Journalists even do not have impunity in secure areas where have high security. The government must take serious security measures for journalists and media outlets,” said Rahimullah Samandar, member of Afghan Journalists Federation.
The Federation also called on government to pay the costs of damages of recent incidents to survivors and medias.
“The families of martyrs also want the government for material and moral support and the government has not pay any attention to this issue so far,” Sidiqullah Tawhidi, one of other members of the federation said.
The federation demanded serious treatment for survivors who hurt mentally.
The recent three deadly and bloody incidents in Kabul left hundreds of people killed and wounded which were Afghanistan war’s worst strike.
