Men Feel Ashamed to Call Women by Names in Afghanistan

It has been common and usual that men in Afghanistan has been feeling either shame, or zeal to call their Women or girls by their own chosen names, the women were called either by their brothers, sons names.

According to Psychologists not calling the females by their own chosen names is counted an insult for women within the society they live in, this will badly impact on their personality.

One of the shopkeepers sells invitation cards Emal said,” We daily see people are coming to our shop and order marriage invitation cards without giving the bride names asking the invitation cards to be printed.”

Teacher Suraya said,” It has been years that I m married, my husband calls by the name of my older son, this has badly impacted over my life within my small society that I m living in, I demand all the men in our country try to call the names of their wives.”

Professor Sharafudding Azimi said,” Not calling the women by their given names is called misogyny this needs to be changed.”

The images that Ariana News cameraman captured even the real names of the Women aren’t written on the stones grave where they slept forever.
