Ministerial nominees to deliver action plans to WJ tomorrow

The 16 ministerial nominees of national unity government will tomorrow deliver their action plans to Wolesi Jirga (WJ)- the lower house of Parliament for a vote of confidence.

Wolesi Jirga’s second deputy speaker said that the documents of eight nominees were reviewed and other documents are under review.

Nazir Ahmad Ahmad Zai, second deputy speaker of WJ added that the questioning-answering process of the ministerial nominees will begin on Wednesday.

“Professionalism, experience and not having dual citizenship are the measures that the representatives will vote for,” Ahmadi Zia said.

In the meantime, members of foreign relations commission of WJ said that of the 16 nominees the documents of 8 nominees have problems.

“Two to three nominees have dual citizenships. These nominees will not be included in agenda If do not give up of their dual citizenships,” Abdul Qader Zazai said.

This comes as Afzal Ludin were referred to WJ on Monday as defense minister but he has not officially introduced to the Parliament.
