Ministry of Education Expected to Spend 60 Percent of Budget

 Afghan leaders had committed to the World community to have its Ministers spend 60 percent of their budget before Brussels summit but during 8 months officials in Ministry of Education has been capable to spend only 15,5 percent of the budget.

Officials in Ministry of Education has told no word about the consumption of the their budget, but experts have believed that having poor management system caused the spending process to be either slow or even stop on the spot.

Ariana News correspondent has repeatedly tried to get hold of the officials in Ministry of Education but none responded.

Meanwhile experts stated that no clear planning and poor management caused the consumption process to be slow.

Expert Hassibullah Esmati said,” There is no solid management in place, we do experience more problems in education system in the country, they have still time ahead before Brussels summit to spend some of their budget.”

“ Donors do not directly authorized the following Ministry officials to access the money and spend it, it could be one of the factors that the budget wasn’t spend on its right time economy expert Azarakhsh said,”

The budget for Ministry of education was allocated $244,27 million dollars for the year of 2016 (1395) the estimation indicates that only $37,9 million dollars was spent.
