“The new policy is developed based on the current economic situation of Afghanistan, its potential, its existing problems in different sectors, current developments and effective methods for industrial developments,” Rassa said.

At the same time, Afghanistan’s Investment Support Agency (AISA) emphasized to increase domestic products.

Mohammad Qurban Haqjo the head of AISA said,” a powerful human force bring progress in our economy, we have seven hundred and seventy six operational factories and our industrial factories have serious problems”.

Deputy Chairman of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Industries (ACCI), Khan Jan Alokozay, noted high taxes, corruption, lack of market, lack of power and lack of land as the main problems in this sector.

“The current tax system cannot provide an effective situation for domestic products, it enables foreign countries especially our neighbors to affect our products,” Alokozay said.
