Afghan Ministry of Defense (MoD) says Pakistan should stop slogans and seriously fulfill its commitments toward Afghanistan.

“Pakistan should take practical steps on fulfilling its commitments. We are engaged in extremism which is working across the Durand to challenge Afghanistan,” said Muhammad Radmanish, deputy spokesman of MoD.

Meanwhile, after the accusation of U.S. President Donald Trump from Pakistan, Islamabad once again showed eager for providing peace and stability in Afghanistan.

Pakistani foreign minister Khawajah Asif also reacted at President Ghani’s remarks regarding Afghan government readiness to hold peace talks with Pakistan.

Asif said, “Pakistan’s position on Afghanistan is very clear. We want to see peace and stability in the country.”

He further added, “We already have bilateral, trilateral, quadrilateral and multilateral mechanisms for dialogue and interaction with Afghanistan in place.”

However, all summits between Afghanistan and Pakistan on fighting terrorism ended without any result so far.

Afghan analyst are said to believe that Pakistan will not fulfill its commitments toward Afghanistan despite being under U.S. pressures.
