MoF signs $128 million MoU gratuitous aids with World Bank
Officials in Ministry of finance has signed a 128 $ million gratuitous aids with World Bank in Kabul city.
They have stated that the following aids will be consumed on reconstruction of power station called Naghlo and establishing water for irrigation of plantations.
Minister of Finance Iklil Hakimi said,” the following projects will help boost economy and development in Afghanistan,projects are so important they could create thousands of jobs opportunities, the money will be spent on establishing of irrigation system for expanding agriculture.”
Meanwhile Minister of Agriculure and live stock Asadullah Zamir said,” the following project will be implemented incoming four years, which will avoid wasting of water for irrigation about 15% on the agriculture sector.”
Head of World Bank in Afghanistan Robert Sam said,” though Afghanistan is facing insecurity and instability , we have signed the two following projects to create jobs for the residents and boost the economy.”
Though Afghanistan is agricultural country and having enormous sources still couldn’t be self-sufficient and purchasing goods from foreign countries.
