MoHE announces Kankor examination results

The Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) on Saturday declared the nationwide university entrance exam (Kankor) results of the year 1394.

According to the announced results, of the 200 thousand applicants, 60 thousands of applicants have succeeded in entrance and will be admitted to universities and higher education institutes.

“We had 200, thousand applicants this year that 58310 applicants admitted to universities of higher education and 60450 applicants admitted to mid-term education universities.

Farmarz Muhammadi from Herat province has achieved the highest marks of the 1394 entrance exam; with gaining 340 marks in entrance exam, Farmarz succeed to Kabul Medical University.

In the meantime, Chief Executive Officer, (CEO) Abdullah Abdullah congratulated those applicants who passed the entrance exam of 1394.

“I congratulate those who succeed in entery exam and those who failed should not be disappointed and must take preparations for the next year,” CEO, abdullah Abdullah said.

This comes as Kankor examinations have always been controversial as the process has been marred with non-transparent allegations.However, the Ministry of Higher Education officials have said the issue has been resolved with the introduction of the new Jumbling system.
