The Ministry of Hajj and Religious Affairs (MoHRA) said the suicide attack among worshipers is unlawful, unforgivable and an un-Islamic action.

MoHRA urged the religious scholars and Imams of mosques  to take position against the radical and extremist groups and do not allow the promotion of extremism among Afghan youths.

Deputy minister of Hajj, DaeulHaq Abed said, “the responsibility of religious scholars is to take position against extremist and radical groups and do not allow their influence among youths.”

The Afghan religious scholars also accept that the recent bloody attacks which killed and wounded dozens of people have no religious justification and is generally inadmissible.

One of the religious scholars, Sayed Ahmad Hamas said, “such attacks are unlawful from the perspective of Islam and the one who a person who intentionally kills someone, his permanent place is in hell.”

This comes as the Hezb-e Harakat Islami party of Afghanistan at the height of the tense situation in the country called on the government and religious scholars to raise their voices against violence.
