MoI assures Badakhshan incident seriously reviews

The minister of interior in a trip to Badakhshan has assured Afghan people that the recent incident of Badkhshan is under serious review.

Nurolhaq Ulomi, the interior minister issued a decree to all security forces to launch joint operations in insecure ports of Badakhshan province.

“Afghanistan enemies must know that they are weak and our people are strong and awake. Afghan forces will kill anyone who has an eye on our national interests,” the interior minister said.

Ulomi noted that terrorist groups carrying out subversive activities to destabilize our country.

“We know who the enemy is and what they want, these terrorists centers are organizing from outside of the country,” he added.

Recently, 18 Afghan soldiers have been killed – eight of them beheaded – by Taliban fighters in a major attack in bloody clashes happened in Wardoj district of Badakhshan province.

The Afghan police force has always suffered particularly high casualties, but the reports of Badakhshan incident added up to one of its worst ones.

This comes as the interior ministry assured people of new security plans for thwarting terrorist attacks in all across the country.
