MoI Awaits for President Decree on Issuing NEIC

Officials in Ministry of Interior Affairs urged that we are waiting for the President decree on issuing the National Electronic Identification Cards.

Minister of Interior Affairs NoorulHaq Ulomi said,” despite of all the preparations and existence of approved laws yet the President to order on beginning of the National processing of National Electronic IDs.”

A number senator in the upper house of the parliament has criticized the Government for not issuing the National Electronic Identification Cards.

Senator Lailoma Ahmadi said,” it has been months, thousands of dollars were invested on the aspect but yet to see the process begin,any delays and neglects will end up the insufficiency of the Nation.”

It has been months that the mutual disagreement in between the President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani and CEO Abdullah Abdullah has caused the following process to be delayed.

All most all the expenses of the National Electronic Identification Cards are being paid by the International community,regular delays on the process has made the International to warn Afghan Government for cutting their financial supports.
