MoI declares defeat of Taliban in North
Taliban has been defeated in the north and Afghan security forces will soon clear all insurgent groups in Yemgan district of Badakhshan, official said.
Sediq Sediqi, Ministry of Interior spokesman emphasized that heavy clashes are ongoing in Yemgan district to suppress Taliban, and said: “Taliban has been defeated in the north of the country, soon Afghans will hear the clearance of Yemgan district, and we are moving on, we have killed 48 insurgents so far.”
This governmental official is insisting that Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) are operating independently across the country, he asked the regional countries to honestly fight against terrorism.
“We are asking all the regional countries to fight against terrorism and extremism honestly as Afghans do,” Sediqi demanded.
MoI praised an investigative report released by Ariana News about narcotic drugs selling and trafficking emphasizing that that police is struggling to detain all drug dealers and they have arrested about 250 drug dealers including two famous dealers.
