Monday’s demonstration damages businesses million dollars in Kabul

Officials in chamber of commerce and industry have stated that Monday demonstration has caused million dollars financial damages to the Governmental and private sector businesses, it has also prevented thousands of businessmen, and investors to be on their duties for running their businesses.

They have demanded the Government to take care of its Nation and don’t let such situation to be created.

Chamber of commerce and industry Spokesman Seiam Persalay said,” Kabul is the capital city of Afghanistan, any interruption within the following city will damage the Nationwide business and impacted negatively, Government needs to determine a place for demonstration.”

Scores of traders, shopkeepers, and those who are running micro-businesses have expressed their deep concerns on Monday protest within Kabul city.

Shopkeeper Ali Ahmad said,” Monday protest has caused me financial damages, today my shop was locked and I couldn’t open it till the end of the day.”

One of the protestors Jafar said,” Our leaders promised us to gain our rights from the Government of Afghanistan, but today they asked everyone to stay home.”

Hundreds of demonstrators have participated within Monday protest to demand the 500 mega watt electricity pylons passes through Bamyan, wardak provinces.

President Ashraf Ghani during a decree has suspended the execution of the following project for the undetermined date and time and ordered to establish a committee to review the following project.
