MoPW Begins Road-Construction Projects in Central Regions
Ministry of Public Works (MoPW) has begun ten projects on road-construction in central areas to solve the problems of roads in Bamyan.
Spokesman of MoPW says, most of the problems of central areas inhabitants will be solved with the completion of these projects.
“1307 kilometer road construction started in separate projects for the central provinces. These projects cost millions of dollars which will be paid by the donors,” said Mahdi Rohani, Spokesman of MoPW.
In the meantime, a number of economic analysts considered these projects challenging.
“With the given situations of the country, more focus should be on problems of the projects. There were many weaknesses in this part in the past, which still remain,” said Sakhi Munir, economic analyst.
A number of central provinces residences urged the government to seriously monitor the projects and prevent corruption in implementation of these projects.
