War Displaces More Than 400,000 People In 1398

According to UNICEF, it is expected that 9.4 million people will need humanitarian assistance.

According to the latest report by UNICEF, more than 400,000 people in 1398 were internally displaced as a result of war. In addition, nearly 300,000 people were affected by the natural disasters, which killed 149 people and caused 39,000 to lose their homes.

Stephen Dewgerk  UNICEF Spokesman, “Next year, more assistance is required, as more than 9.4 million people are expected to need  assistance. Fifty-six percent of those in need of assistance are children.”

Mr. Dewgerk also stressed that UNICEF together with partner organizations, are working to provide aids for more than 7.1 million people in 2020,  which will cost up to 733 million dollars.
