MoWA registers collateral of couples, marriage letters to avoid violence

Officials in Ministry of Women Affairs have begun registration processing of marriage certificates and collateral of couples with the cooperation of Supreme Court in Kabul.

The main object of the launching such data is to avoid forcing marriages, decreasing of violence, and exchanging of girls.

It has been common in Afghanistan that couples get married without any proper documentation, in most cases women don’t access their right basics when they get married,in order to decrease violence again women in the country Ministry of women affairs have begun a joint cooperation on registration of couples while they get married.

Minister of Women affairs Dilbar Nazari said,” we have stepped up towards decreasing of violence against Women, the letter of marriage and collateral of couples will avoid further violence within the families.”

Officials in Supreme court have also declared the act which was taken by both Governmental departments for decreasing violence against Women.

Head of registration for marriage letters,and collateral of couples Sediqullah Haqiq said,” our Prophet Hazarat Mohmamad has mentioned that you should be so careful on Women rights,we admire the following act coming from the Ministry of Women affairs.”

Afghanistan is an Islamic country and all its laws and rules are coming from the Islam religion,but having no proper system in place have made thousands of Women suffered from the violence from the current situation within their families.
