Mps Demand NUG to Determine Date for Parliamentary Election

 Members at the lower house of the parliament have demanded to determine the date for holding parliamentary Election, council Elections.

They have stated that the activities of the following house of the parliament is legal doesn’t need any decree from the president address.

However President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani has declared the continuation of lower house activities is having legal solution and it will be resolved after consultancy received from supreme court.

Head of the lower house of the parliament Abdul Rauf Ibrahimi said,” we have demanded the Government several times to determine the date, based on their responsibility they will have to announce the date for holding parliamentary, provincial council Elections.”

Meanwhile a number of the representatives in the house have expressed their different points of views over the continuation of lower house activities in current year.

Mp shukria Barakzai said,”Parliament represents Nation,it cant continue working based on the president decree.”

The other member of the house Ramzan Bashar dost said,”if the date for the parliamentary Election doesn’t get determined after 21th of June 2015 we will not have no reason for the Nation,if no action doesn’t have to be taken by the both leaders of the National Unity Government then they are playing a game with lower house,if the president do release any decree,we will be under his control.”

Reformation on Election system and Election commissions are the main reasons for delaying parliamentary Election.Electoral reformation committee was established to do reforming but yet to see significant acts.

 The other Mp in the house Obaidullah Barakzai said,”both leaders of the Government should come together and decide about the future of the Government.”

 President Ghani has told to media managers and civil society activists that Electoral reformation Committee will have some changes,still the destination of the lower house the parliament,its also not clear the date of the Election for the parliament.
