Wolesi Jirga on Saturday session strongly criticized the National Unity Government for postponing the new cabinet formation.

The House Speaker Abdul Rauf Ebrahimi called the government illegitimate which is imposed and formed by the United States of America at the U.S. Embassy in Kabul.

The House Speaker addressing to the House asked,” is the current government based on the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan?” While responded with “NO” by a number of the lawmakers.

He further determined a one week deadline for the new government and added if the government failed to introduce the new cabinet to Afghan Parliament within one week the House will announce their final decision in this regard.

The legislators also believe that both President Ghani and the Chief Executive Officer, Abdullah Abdullah are responsible for the recent turbulent situation in the country, because they are procrastinating on their jobs and misleading the current situation of Afghanistan.

“The National Unity Government does not care about the people grief, because their Mir Afghan (referring to a police officer who recently sacrificed himself to detain a suicide bomber in Kabul) is outside the country, My Mir Afghan was martyred in this country, Ghani, Abdullah, Gen. Dostum and other officials sons are living outside the country that is why they are not caring about our situation,” Shekiba Hashimi a Member of the Parliament declared.

On the other hand a number of the lawmakers accused the President and the CEO for lying.

Ghulam Hussain Nasri another Member of Parliament said,” His Excellency Abdullah and Ghani, Why did you forget the promises you made during your complain period?”

President Ghani during his inauguration ceremony promised to form the new cabinet within 45 working days, but the National Unity Government is almost three months old and yet the new cabinet to be introduced.
