Mps summon MoF Minister on Afghan Asylum seekers problem

Members of the parliament at the lower house have summoned Minister of Foreign Affairs Salahuddin Rabbani and Minister of Refugees and Repatriation Sayed Hussien Alemi Balkhi to provide more information over the problems of Afghan Asylum seeker in foreign countries, but Minister of Foreign Affairs refused to attend the session and provide information on Saturday.

Ignoring of Minister of Foreign affairs was declared as funny behavior towards the parliament of Afghanistan,insisting on his presence Mps have asked the speaker of the house to summon Minister of foreign affairs once again in the future.

Mp Mirbat khan Mangal said,” this issue doesn’t go to only Minister of refugee but Minister of Foreign affairs refused to attend the session this indicates that his has made fun of Afghanistan parliament.”

“ Minister of Foreign affairs Salahuddin Rabbani has disrespected our agenda today, he should have come and provided more information on the issue Mp Ghulam Hussien Nassiri said,”

Meanwhile Mp Rubaba Parwani said,” the official letter has been sent to his address since 10 days, he should have had no excuse for not attending today’s session, based on our internal law we can’t depend on the second hand information.”

Speaker of the lower house Abdul Rauf Ibrahimi said,” Minister of Foreign Affairs Salahuddin Rabbani has made fun of lower house we have been waiting hours for him presence, we insist to summon him once again in the future.”

This is not the first time that Afghan officials are ignoring Afghanistan parliament when they are being summoned to attend the sessions.
